Even guides can have people to rely on. I don't think that should stop because of your duty. It's only... if it's whether you don't want it, but that'd sound a little lonely to me.

Needing other people doesn't stop because of your job, you're not wrong. [ a pause ] But I can gripe with the other angels if I need to.

Just the other angels?

God, too, I guess? But they're... you know.

No, you wouldn't. [ it's said with a kind of belated laugh, and they shake their head ] They're my boss. Let's go with that.

I knew that much, but not everyone is willing to complain to their boss. I didn't know you had that kind of relationship with them.

[holyspirits]

They picked the three of us out specifically, so I guess we've got kind of a special bond with them. That makes it easier, probably.

[florescences]

It's always nice to have a special bond. Were you happy to receive the assignment to guide us?

[holyspirits]

It wasn't assigned. They asked. [ they tilt their head back ] I could've turned them down if I wanted to.

How benevolent.... Do you receive any perks for being here?

[holyspirits]

Most people would consider babysitting you all the opposite of a perk, but I like the one-on-one experience. It's fun. [ a beat ] One on--thirtyish?

[florescences]

Fun?

[ she laughs. it's almost one of pleasant surprise. ]

It's better if your work is also fun, but even I can't say it's not work. I love all of them, but I had my time bringing a dozen people together.

Mostly I just answer questions and watch shenanigans, so. Yeah. As far as observing goes, it's fun. [ they seem happy that she laughed, tbh ]

Yeah? Whose shenanigans are the most fun for you to watch? Some of us are a bit more energetic than others.

Some of the energetic ones are energetic in an exhausting way, though.

[ dan... rip... ]

The destructive ones, you mean... [ thinks about all the property damage. ] But some of the other ones are energetic in a very cute way.

Not too unlike looking after children.

Aww, I'd give them a little more credit than that.

[ although she sounds very amused. ]

Well, they're not disturbing the peace enough to be a classroom of teens yet.

Let's not entice rioting. Children is better for all of us.

Exactly. Present company excluded from the children comparison, of course.
