I wouldn't say it's scot-free. It's not like God won't keep it in mind during judgment, if it really wasn't self-defense.

Anders wouldn't target her like that.

Regardless, I would rather have her face judgement from god than someone else here. Is there anything I can do to keep her safe?

Maybe tell people that the "is killing ever justified" question wasn't a litmus test? They'd still be held on trial.
