Well, this God, for one. And then I've met another, and I know of one a lot of people would think of as one. The one I've met I didn't get to talk to for a long time. But they gave me a nudge towards a path I might not have taken if they hadn't said anything.

That does sound similar! What were they like?

I didn't talk to them long. But... big? Ancient? The power they talked about was intense, but the path they pushed me on was one that was... good, I think.

What path was that?

Well. By the time I talked to them face to face, I'd already gone on it. They'd given me a hint through someone else, first. [ complicated... ]

More like a time, really. I didn't know what it meant, but it was a start.

What did you have to do, on this path?

... Find a way to recreate the circumstances where I'd first heard that date on the date itself, to make it simple.

Sorry, I don't think explaining it more would be clearer. It was just--recreating the day I first heard them on the date they gave me.

Ultimately it gave me the power to change the outcome of that day.

To redo events that had already occurred, you mean?

Sort of. More closer to undo, but. Close enough.

... Then, there was something you needed to undo? Did something bad happen?

... Someone close to me died.

That's what I was hoping for. I didn't know for sure it'd work. But it did.
