That's probably more of a Gam or Ram question. The one Gamaliel's been in contact with most is apparently her husband. [ the way she says this is with wry amusement because she thinks it's funny that this is what gam tells people. ] Some of his messages are difficult to make heads or tails of, but the three angels seem to be working together? And I guess Mary is part of their team. The angel who helps on our side on Wednesdays.
[gamaliel...... your marriage....... mizu is from the 17th century and already knows that gamaliel is older than she looks, so this gets a raised eyebrow and a flicker of curiosity at most. okay.]
Huh. I see. Yes, Mary's name was brought up in a letter Shadowheart received. I suppose you haven't exchanged any correspondence with the other three, then?
[ she shrugs... she is not sure, and it is not her business. ]
Something like that. [ but she seems surprised. ] We haven't written to the other three, no. Gamaliel talks to Kiraman regularly and we're getting most of the information across, and some of them on that side have written, too. We have a better sense of how they are, at least.
They've upped their efforts to cover even more ground per day hoping to buy time for the lost souls to get back here without running into more push-back.
... this is more from personal experience than anything, but now that the entity knows we're actually looking at it, it's likely going to start acting up. The signs we were meant to look for before aren't going to be the only things. We'll have to watch for openings. I've been thinking... maybe the doors are a distraction? Like we've been told not to let things in and to watch them, but what if it's a cover?
A cover... You mean they want us to focus exclusively on keeping the doors shut, so to speak. But while we're distracted, they could have already secured another way of entry for themselves. Or perhaps their goal is not to get in at all, but to get something out?
Exactly that. I would put less emphasis on actual, physical doors and think of it more metaphorically, lest they get the jump on us when we aren't paying attention.
You know what I mean, Mizu. A bigger jump, then. But that's good enough. We have to stay as on guard as we can, while keeping the project on course. I know it's hard though. We'll do the best we can.

And god? Have they said anything since the lost souls were located?

Though we only have about three more weeks left, right?

Is there anything we should be looking out for as we get closer to the end of our... program? If it can still be called that by this point.

[our poor derailed program...]
But I'll keep that in mind, lest they deal a finishing blow to what you're doing here.
