They reminded me of someone that I love and trust. So I thought that it would be nice to help them, instead of just being a burden where I was.

God still has to run the rest of Heaven while supervising this project. It's a lot, and if things had gone as planned and this had just been eight weeks of relaxation and self-reflection, there wouldn't be much need for them to be so hands-on. But everyone would need people to talk to in case they had questions or needed guidance.
