I've been thinking about that text Anders sent out to everyone yesterday, too—it said to "look everywhere". So we probably shouldn't leave that only to the new stops we get without backtracking, right...?

It can't hurt. If whatever this thing is is smart enough to move targets it wouldn't surprise me if it was hiding places we would forget to check.

Yeah... And the more that's open to us, the more empty certain spots are going to become.

The further you go from the neighborhood, the closer to home this thing can get. [ this sucks, actually. ] We'll have to be really vigilant in the next few weeks. Even if nothing comes from it, I'd rather say we tried than not.

That's how they get you. Like going to the movies and knowing popcorn's way overpriced, but it smells good enough you still fork over the ten bucks for it. [ that aside. ] I actually haven't been over there for a while. Maybe I'll head back to look myself.

It's nice if you like candy, I suppose! But I think I might go visit the beach again.

The beach is one of the better places in this pocket. If I'm not in Twin Peaks, I'm usually there. I don't blame people for going back.

Right? I love it there! I've never seen a beach so quiet, so it makes it really peaceful.

It's a little warmer than the beaches I've seen, but I never went to many before either. Sometimes it's nice to just go and listen to the waves.

That's what I like to do, too. Or wade through the water for a little while.

At least it's calm enough you won't get washed away. That has to count for something, right?

You've never seen the riptides out in the ocean before?

Oh. No no, I know they're out there, but it's not usually on my mind...

Probably for the best. Beaches are meant to be enjoyed instead of thinking about stuff like that.

Maybe if you go surfing or diving often... I don't normally go in too deep.

I've never tried neither. But maybe I would've wanted to one day. There's probably an island somewhere in Heaven that's nothing but ocean though, so maybe I'll take a look when this project's over.

I guess there's that one spot where you can walk into the ocean, but it's not the same as swimming.

Over in Oz, right? I... haven't actually been down there. The ocean, not Oz itself. But I don't think it counts the same either.
