None of us really thought it would happen like this. Especially today? He was just supposed to get on the platform, say his final goodbyes with you all, and disappear on a different train to be expelled.
In all of the archives we've found, we haven't found anything comparable. We had no warning for this, even with the protocols in place for emergencies. I don't think most people would jump to the idea of murder in a place like this.
You don't, you're right. All of you were brought here, and yes maybe it was random and yes this is a trial period for a reason, but I didn't get the sense any of you would actively ruin someone else's chances. The only good thing is that after this it shouldn't happen again.
Nobody was happy to sit through those nine hours. You'd think people would not want to do it just because it's wrong, first of all, but second of all everyone would be really pissed about wasting another Saturday.
You know that, and I know that. [ but some people they are concerned about. ] Maybe waste isn't the right word, but you get the idea. Nobody's going to be happy, and I do kind of worry it's going to make some people more vengeful.
That's if it happens again. I don't think anyone's going to try a second time. They would have to be doing it on purpose, and if that happened... I don't want to see a chain reaction.
