Mmhm! We just got a few things we thought we might need, but the space definitely feels less empty now.

Good. We want you to be comfortable here, but decorating the rooms ourselves wouldn't have really helped.

How are you getting along with your roommate?

I think we've been getting along! We picked out everything we wanted for the room together, so I'd say that's a sign things will go smoothly between us.

I'm glad to hear that. Sharing more confined spaces can make it harder to get along, but compromise is important.

What sort of stuff did you get?

Storage space, mostly—oh, and a cozy chair, and nice lights for the room! Maomao really wanted plants too, but it seems like those weren't available.

She really likes plants, doesn't she? If they were just for decoration, there are fake ones, but...

[ well. she doesn't want fake ones for similar reasons to why she can't have real ones. honestly. ]

... But I think she just wants to eat them.

There's plenty of food to eat...

... Maybe they're her favorite?

I'm not actually sure. We just have the ones she took from the lobby that I caught her eating before.

I can see what she says... Though I suspect she wouldn't want to part with them.

This space is yours. So what everyone does with it is their choice.

Oh. Then it's okay if she has them? I don't mind, really, if no one else does either.

Good question. But ultimately one that she should be thinking about more than you are.

Then the answer's an obvious one, I think.

Were those plants important where they were? Does it hurt anyone if they're somewhere else? Did she have a good reason for taking them? And how much does it really matter, now that you guys can redecorate the lobby however you like?

There are a lot of angles to consider it from.

Someone hung up some lights and someone left out some candy, so it's coming together slowly.

We should make a group effort out of it soon!

That would be nice! I'd love to see what everyone thinks it should look like.
