Haha, come on... [ She doubts that but OK!!! ] I wanted to see how you were doing! It's been busy all over again.

[ the lion cub sits up, stretching and putting its paws on the table while it looks at her with a bitty roar. hewwo. gabriel reaches across the table to pet it, but their face remains turned toward her. ]

No kidding. I forgot how loud you guys can be. [ a joke. ] But it's nice, right? Like a lot of the tension's gone now.

[ Goodness. Cute as the little guy is, Koharu still seems a little reluctant about getting close to it. ]

I think we got too used to how quiet it's been. But... I like it this way better, and I do feel like a weight's been lifted off my shoulders.

[ yeah, they figure, given. part of the pets are also just them pushing the little guy back. ]

Well then that's good. The quiet's the real killer, sometimes. I've been seeing people on and off but everybody's out there catching up. It's a good thing.

Yeah, I've been doing a lot of that too! But that doesn't mean I'll forget about all my usual haunts, too.

I'm not gonna stop you from doing both. Last week, remember? May as well make the most of it.

Yeah... It's kind of wild to think about. After this, it's goodbye, huh.

Yeah... after Judgment Day, that's it. It's nice to see everyone together, but a little depressing knowing time's running out. [ a shake of their head. ] You're heading home, I'm guessing. You still have your own trial to finish to come back to life there, don't you?

That's right. I always intended on going back, so... I've been trying to think about what I'll say to the others.

And how's that going for you so far? [ even if the tone sounds a little too casual, they do seem to sincerely want to know. ]

... It's hard. Just saying "thank you" doesn't feel like it's enough.

Why not? A lot of people don't even remember to say it in the first place.

Erm. I... I don't know, do you think it is? I keep thinking there's more I should be doing.

Maybe goodbye gifts? Like little things from you that remind you of the people you're leaving.

Ah—good idea! That'll be easier to think on, surely.

You might wanna stick with something small though. There's a lot of them only a few days.

Yeah... I think going big might be a bit much, anyway? I don't need to make a show of it or anything.

Nah. Maybe ask one of the others about making something, or you could order something in bulk from the kiosk to put together. Whatever you think you have time for.

Well... Now that there's nothing else to worry about, I think I have nothing but time, right?

Thursday and Friday will be more free... Yeah, I think it should be good.
