Alice in Wonderland? It's... about this girl who sees a rabbit one day, and she follows him down the rabbit hole. At the bottom, she finds a door that leads her to this place, Wonderland, where everything is purposefully ridiculous and abnormal and interesting unlike the boring life she had before. She meets a bunch of residents of Wonderland including the Cheshire Cat who wants to give her all kinds of bad advice, and she ends up losing her way. Most of the people end up thinking she's a monster, or unusual, or someone who doesn't belong. So. She's... just trying to find her way back home, and eventually she's advised to go see the Queen of Hearts because she's the only one who can send her home. But the cat appears again and frames Alice for a crime she didn't commit, and the queen wants her executed. The king says to hold a trial for her, but things get worse when she's in court and the queen sentences her again. She makes a break for it, and as she returns to the door with the entirety of Wonderland following she realizes the whole thing's a bad dream. When she wakes up, she's okay and right where she fell asleep. Back in her boring, safe world.
The flowers, the tea party, the weird croquet mallets, the playing cards, the woods ... all of that kind of stuff is from the story. And so here we are. Maybe the book is different but that's what I remember from a movie I saw once.
