She's sweet, and she's not giving up on Adolphe even when he's prickly. She won't let him talk badly about himself, which I think he needs. Adolphe's really cool, even though he doesn't realize it. He'd also be great at making sure that Ellie isn't lonely, and he's more patient than just about anyone I've ever met so he can handle Ellie's high energy.

Though I do think Claude might like Ellie, too... so it could get complicated. And I wonder if Taair could have feelings for Adolphe...

Well, it's just preliminary...

I try to watch people closely for other reasons, but it's cute to see their interactions with each other. Even if it's not love, it's a little pick-me-up.

When I started up Courrune, I was working on getting people's trust... but a lot of them had mixed feelings about the cursed boy who got caught in the fires.

Is Courrune where you met Adolphe, then? Or did you know him before that?

It was around the same time! We were just getting started when one day this huge guy—the size of Marcoh—just picked me up off the street! I must've been... what, 14? So funny!

Hugo was screaming and yelling all the way back to the Corps' base, which is why I'd been picked up. The Corps Commander thought I had potential in a fight, and Adolphe was part of the Corps.
