Probably because I'm not a guardian angel. Never was. Knowing how this goes, I'll probably be like this for the whole time you're here until the end, and if you decide to stay here and integrate after all.

Because it's weird to talk to an overgrown night light? I get it. After the Angels lost their glow, it's weirder I didn't. I've had a lot of you come by checking to see if I did, and most people have the same response. A little disappointed, a little unsure, mostly curious. ... I want to try and be a better person. And I figure the best way to do that is by being a better person for other people. If that means listening to people talk and giving advice sometimes or just being a person they can offload all their bullshit on, then okay.
