Well, with some exceptions. Copyright laws are somewhat nuanced. But essentially, you cannot use a copyrighted song in your own projects if you intend to make money off of it. Unless you pay for the rights.

So things like movies or games or monetized youtube videos would have restrictions on what music they can use. Some songs are free, though.

But I don't mind. I'd rather be doing something more useful with my time, anyway.
