For the record, I didn't expect this place at all. So I had zero expectations.

Because I've seen how many innocent people die all the time. And I'm far innocent. I deserve whatever Justice is cast upon me. I was ready for it.

Seriously, the spots aren't limited. You're not taking it away from someone more "deserving".

The point is that no one here is innocent, but maybe they could earn a second chance. If you don't want it or to try for it, then that's that. We're not going to force you to try. This whole thing is something you've got to work for. If you'd rather self-flagellate for eight weeks, go ahead.

Deals like this are never so clean cut. There will be something lost in the trade. I don't know what it is you want yet - altruistic as the intention sounds. Only insane people do something for nothing.

Well, I can't speak for God's reasons, or even Ramiel and Zuriel's. But for me...

You're right. Plenty of innocent people die, and the worst get to live forever. So I want people to have a chance at a future they wouldn't have had otherwise, because I had to make mine happen myself, and it was... It took a long time. And maybe I'm curious if it can even work.
