I spent seven years writing the Divine in Orlais, a few weeks is hardly a wait.
[ though the divine is a fantasy pope. not a god. ]
The Maker is an absent god. He has turned his sight from us, ashamed of our sins. To pray to him or invoke him is useless, because he will not return until we have proven ourselves worthy of his return as a whole. At least, this is what the Chantry teaches.
A God should always answer their people when possible. I do not believe in only answering prayers (or texts) for people of a certain caliber. This project was meant to be one in which a just god watches and judges fairly without turning a blind eye. It also means listening when you don't think I'm listening. Watching when you don't think I'm watching.

I wanted to know if you were listening.

What happens if we fail?

What do you consider failure in this instance? Failure in the overall picture, or failure in your own redemption?

Both?
