Once the rest of the gang descends with their lit torches, they will see they've entered a long, winding stone tunnel. Right away, they notice that it grows more narrow further down, but the light from the torches isn't enough to illuminate the whole of it.
There are faint noises coming from further down the tunnel. Rustling and echoey drip drops.
The inky black darkness stares down at them from about a few dozen paces away. They will have to keep going to see what else the tunnel holds.]
